When was your first tourney & how did you do?
My first tourney was in 1982 at Surf-Six in Old Orchard Beach. It was right on the beach with a sit-down table. I took home 1st place..
What is your most memorable tourney?
The AAA 2003 Addison County Fair in Vermont. There were 22 entries in my class. I left undefeated with and won 2 jackets for Right & Left Hand.
Training tips:
Armwrestle often. Keep a dumbbell in your livingroom to have it handy, and do chin-ups.
Any unique training methods?
I still climb a rope that is 25' long & thick in diameter.
Nationals or Worlds experience?
I took 4th place in the Sit-Down Nationals in 1988 at Oglebay Park in West Virginia.
Other comments:
I like State Championships tournaments. You get to meet the local armwrestlers. I like the comradery among armwrestlers where ever I go.
